Kyoto. Robotics, heavy industry, and most of the entertainment anybody watches — the simsense, the trideo, the music. If you have never bought anything from MCT you have still spent all week looking at their product.

They are also the reason experienced runners turn work down. MCT's security doctrine is called Zero Zone, and what it means is that there is no arrest, no negotiation and no wounded. Drones, mages, and things they keep in cages that are not from around here.

What the crew knows

• Nobody has ever been arrested inside an MCT facility. Draw whatever conclusion you like from that.
• Their magical security is second only to Aztechnology's, and unlike Aztechnology they use it to kill rather than to watch.
• Yakuza money built them and yakuza money is still in them. That's not a rumour, it's just how the company is owned.
• Industrial sites and a studio presence in both cities. In Los Angeles they own real estate around the production business, and there's nobody above the district level to complain to about how they hold it.
• Fixers charge more for MCT jobs. Runners who take them charge more too.
