Renraku Computer Systems
Computers, databases, and the sealed city standing in downtown Seattle.
Renraku stores things. Memory, databases, records — if an institution knows something about you, it is probably sitting on Renraku hardware. Unglamorous business, enormous business.
In Seattle they are also a landmark. The arcology downtown is a corporate city with its own power, water and population, and it does not need the sprawl around it for anything.

What the crew knows
- Inside the arcology you are inside their country. Not their building — their country. Different laws, different police, no appeal.
- The Red Samurai are their internal security. They are very good, and unlike MCT they will take you alive, which is not obviously the better outcome.
- Tens of thousands of people live in there and go about ordinary lives. Some of them will talk to you for money.
- Their Los Angeles presence is data centres and cable, not towers. In a city with no government, being the company that holds everyone's records is quietly a lot of power.
- Easiest of the Japanese corps to get physically near, hardest to get anything out of.
Standing with the crew
